I have an urge to scream and blaspheme. Loudly.
Therefore I shall write. A page of under-the-breath mutterings. F****ing twatty solicitors, estate agents and people buying our house. GO TO HELL. What a bastard week we've just had. This coming week should be our last in our lovely Lawrence Road home. But we'll be here a little longer. As a result of someone's (solicitor?) incompetence. We're so close to Wales I can smell it. It is in touching distance. And according to Rob (the current owner) the sun is out there today....the skies are clear, the house is warm and cosy. And he has just taken delivery of a huge pile of logs for when we move in. He is such a nice chap. Our buyers are now threatening to pull out. When we are soooooo f***ing close. But then she is pregnant. Baby is due in June. And they are currently living with her parents. In Wilmslow. So clearly pulling out now is the only option. FFS. So basically - we're ready to exchange and complete on our house. They want to move in next Friday (2 March). But if we do that....we could (very worst case scenario) end up homeless with a George, two dogs and a rabbit. We are waiting on one important Deed of Covenant. To seal the deal on Wales. That's all. Just one thing. It will happen. Just not by 2 March. But it could. So I had to make a decision yesterday. I decided that even if it all falls into place before Friday...we need another week at least before we move out. So I've booked flights and hotel for Switzerland - I will be there next week now. So..Dear People Buying our House. Chill your beans. Back off a little. Let us breathe. Stop with the pressure. And give us another week to see if we can finalise the last bit of Welsh paperwork. Or just f***king pull out. We won't lose anything. The Welsh house will wait for us. It may just be a little longer before we get to enjoy those views. And while I am ranting in the cubicle (office) Stu is watching this The good news this week? (there is always good news) Switzerland people have asked me to stay on with them until Summer.
